Wanderlust Tourism Music Festival is filled with fun and excitement performance from a great selection of artist in the Philippines. Wanderlust’s advocacy is to revive the local economy, we are making a step forward to promote Tourism in the midst of the pandemic to help the local MSMEs that greatly affected the travel and tourism industries. Given that the tourism sector is a major source of employment, government revenue and foreign exchange earnings, these disruptions will cause a significant contraction in our country’s gross domestic product and contribute to rising unemployment and the economic recession.

What Do We Hope to Achieve?
Under the Wanderlust TMF project, we will be able to implement a “tourism bubble” wherein we are able to mobilize pre-vaccinated tourists to visit Boracay and spend in the local economy. In partnership with Philippine Medical Depot and Boracay Foundation Inc.
With the help of private sector & public sector partners, we are able to provide alternative livelihood to local displaced workers and align government resources to support those who need it most.
We are able to create safe, controlled and contact-traced safe tourists spaces which can be replicated in a similarly controlled manner for other PH tourist destinations.
Most importantly, through our partnerships with local hotel & resort operators & the LGU, we are able to revive the local economy, which again can be a formula for other destinations to follow.
Once success is achieved in Boracay, Tourismo.ph through partners can move forward to help other destinations nationwide to revive tourism in our key gateways.
Prospective Multiplier Effect

Hotel occupancy equivalent to some 5,000 room nights at P 2,500 (average) x 7 Days = P 87,500,000.00 during the Wanderlust event.
Subsidiary spending per Tourist @ P 3,000 x 5,000 tourists x 7 days = P 105,000,000.00 brought into the local economy.
